RUNLABS is a focused life sciences real estate company, bringing over 25 years of experience in growing global science and technology clusters to Europe and the UK. The business is focused on cluster building, dynamic ecosystems, and creating a globally connected Cluster-of-Clusters. RUNLABS aim is to foster Inclusive Innovation to drive novel breakthroughs. Prior to founding RUNLABS, Steven Marcus was the Manager of Bugsby Property LLC which advised Alexandria Real Estate Equities on capital markets strategy, the creation of substantial shareholder value, and led to its largest programmatic joint venture (approx. $1.2 billion of investment, including development of long-term life science clusters in Boston and San Diego) with TIAA, now Nuveen. Bugsby Property LLC is a privately-held investment manager and real estate sponsor, and its work has been featured in industry publications including Bloomberg and PropertyWeek. Focused on unconventional value creation, including a bid for Olympia London and other investments in the creative industries, filmed entertainment, and exhibitions business. Steven Marcus, RUNLABS' founder, was the founder of Northmoore Capital Management LLC and spent nearly a decade as a portfolio manager in public-markets investment management in New York. Investment focus included special situations, European equities, and life science.
