Steven Szymeczek is a mechanical engineer with more than 12 years of experience across aerospace, oil & gas, consumer, and medical device industries. His broad areas of expertise include product development, engineering, and implementing design for traditional & Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing strategies. Steven held a former position as the Head of Applications Engineering at Athena 3D Manufacturing, where he oversaw design engineering strategy and development for a variety of clients seeking to implement 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing into their processes. Steven held a former position as Customer Ops Manager for LINK3D, an Additive manufacturing execution software company. He was also previously Co-Owner for Penumbra Engineering LLC, a 3D product development services company. His early career was spent as a Design Engineer with B/E Aerospace where he led design for first class airline suites such as Emirates Next Generation. Steven obtained his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Northern Arizona University.
