Ranked in Chambers for IT and FinTech. Ranked in Legal500 as a Next Generation Partner for Commercial Contracts and IT & Telecoms and a Leading Lawyer for TMT and FinTech. Trustee and Deputy Chair at the Society of Computers and Law. I specialise in technology deals including cloud, outsourcing, digital transformation and development and licensing. I advise on a range of legal and regulatory issues relating to the deployment of new technologies including AI, blockchain/DLT, the metaverse and crypto-assets. My practice also involves advising on strategic intellectual property and commercial agreements and the commercial, IT and intellectual property aspects of M&A transactions and joint ventures. I act for both customers and suppliers and have experience across various business sectors, but with particular experience in the TMT, financial services, consumer goods and retail and industrial sectors. I am co-chair of Baker McKenzie's FinTech practice in London and co-chair of the EMEA Financial Institutions Industry Group. I am a member of the CBI Tech Council and AI advisory group. Outside of my practice, I am a diversity champion and contribute to various initiatives focused on increasing the diversity of the legal and tech sectors.
