I´m graduated in Journalism studies from the University of Navarre and studied some masters in Corporate Communication, Public Relations and Digital Marketing at the ESIC Marketing and Business School. My career has orientated as a journalist specialising in Science and Innovation. I have worked in Corporate Communication and public awareness campaigns addressing the implementation of European Directives in the public administration (Government of Navarre, Environment and Industry Departments 2003-2014) and in ZABALA Innovation managing European funding programmes and projects. Previously also worked as a journalist and politics correspondent for the agency of news Europe Press and the Spanish broadcasting company Antena 3 Television. Currently, I´m responsible for Institutional Relations and Public Affairs in ZABALA Innovation Brussels and lead the European Communication team (6 people). Our multidisciplinary team design and manage dissemination, communication, and stakeholder strategies for European projects and international tenders: health, energy transition, the start-up ecosystem, and social innovation are the expertise areas. I combine this position with the academic world as an associate professor of Science Journalism and Environmental Communication at the University of Navarre.
