Bio

Sylvain is an expert in IT infrastructures. He has deep knowledge of all things datacenter related: Electricity & cooling, hardware, network, storage, servers, operating systems and virtualization. Even before graduating Sylvain was already working on large & challenging projects with multi-millions budgets, mainly for the banking industry but also for healthcare or wholesale clients. He chose to focus on virtualization projects because these are often the tip of the iceberg in infrastructure projects. The virtualization field offer a unique opportunity to revisit other topics like network configuration & scalability, storage growth & resilience or operating systems obsolescence. In today’s IT, whenever a company runs out of space in it’s current datacenter, virtualization and cloud computing are among the first answers that come in the customer’s mind in order to solve the problem. Sylvain is always attracted by challenging projects with large (often national or world) scale impacts. His mind is always craving for innovative solutions to help solve the problem at hand, be it for a customer or in-house. Having successfully work alone or with a team in the past, he'll now help grow the Nutanix presence in French speaking southern Europe.
