At FTW Ventures, I lead the Life Sciences research and outreach to early-stage startups, and cultivate connections at leading universities to find new science & technology that will be transformative to Food & Ag. Soon, I’ll be completing my PhD through the UC Davis Veterinary School, focused on developing biotechnology tools to improve sustainability in aquaculture. I’ve worked in Japan and the US developing these technologies for salmon, trout, and caviar production. In my personal time, I enjoy hiking with my two Australian Shepherds. I'm passionate about helping first generation college students achieve academic success in university and spreading scientific fervor.
