Terence Cryan is an experienced CEO, turnaround and restructuring specialist. He has experience as a CEO across a range of industries including alternative energy, power and utilities, metals and mining, industrial manufacturing, EPC construction and maintenance services, oil & gas (upstream and downstream), medical devices, consumer packaged goods and the global non-profit sector. Terence is currently the Executive Chairman of the Board of Westwater Resources (NYSE:WWR), an energy metals technology company which has developed advanced graphite products for the battery and energy storage industries. He is also Chairman of the Board of Ocean Power Technologies (NYSE:OPTT), a marine energy technology company serving the oil & gas, security and defense and the ocean science, data & research industries. Terence was recently honored, together with his MACCO colleagues, with the M&A Advisor's Turnaround of the Year award. Prior to MACCO, Terence has had numerous successful turnaround assignments as CEO, including serving as President and CEO of Global Power Equipment Group Inc (NYSE:GLPW) and as President and CEO of Uranium Resources Inc. (NASDAQ:URRE). Terence has over twenty years of experience in investment banking and private equity in the United States and Europe. He co-founded and served as the Managing Director of Concert Energy Partners, an investment and private equity firm based in New York City. Prior to that, Terence was a Senior Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division at Bear Stearns. Earlier in his career, he was a Managing Director, Energy and Natural Resources Group Head and member of the Investment Banking Operating Committee at Paine Webber. Terence has extensive public and private board and corporate leadership and governance experience. He has served on seven public company boards and was named a Board Leadership Fellow by the National Association of Corporate Directors in 2014. Terence has also been an adjunct professor at the Metropolitan College of New York Graduate School of Business. He received a Master of Science degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Tufts University.
