I established Energy Strat Asia in Singapore in 2019 to support specialist energy companies enter and export to Asian markets. I advise early stage energy technology companies focused on building commercial capability with customer and investor readiness. I’ve worked at KPMG for over 22 years; since 2012 based in Singapore. I advise major energy and infrastructure clients and liaise with key energy agencies, associations and institutes. From 2012-2019 I was Director of the KPMG Global Energy Institute for Asia Pacific. I spent 7 years in Bahrain as Director of KPMG’s Sales & Markets division in the Middle East and South Asia region. I operated out of KPMG’s office in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia and led relationships with large Energy, Chemical and Governmental organisations. From 2000-2009 I was the Global Executive Director of KPMG’s Energy & Natural Resources practice. I was based in KPMG in the United Kingdom from 1998-2005. In Singapore I am Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce’s Energy & Utilities Business Group. Management Board Member of the Energy Studies Institute at NUS. Committee Member of Women in Energy, Asia. Vice Chairman of the committee for the Energy Institute (UK) Singapore branch. Board Advisor to Newcastle University in Singapore. I led KPMG’s first Global Energy Conference in Asia Pacific in April 2013. I develop thought leadership such as KPMG’s Study of Singapore’s role in the Oil & Gas Value Chain in Asia Pacific and the LNG and Trading series. In 2012, I established KPMG’s Global Energy Institute in Asia Pacific, building over 3,000 members, conducting across the Asia Pacific. I've coordinated KPMG’s relationships with leading industry bodies such as the World Petroleum Council and KPMG’s patron’s program with the World Energy Council and led KPMG’s participation at their Congresses from 2001-2008. I have close relationships with the International Energy Agency, moderating events as part of an Asian dialogue series and moderated several sessions at Singapore International Energy Week.
