As a strategic brand steward and cross functional leader I develop the formula that enables a business to compete. I build businesses and brands around the needs and wants of customers by driving cross functional and senior leader alignment to deliver competitive advantages. For the last 10+ years as a communications focused marketer, I defined and executed marketing strategy in a way that makes brands and products fit into the crazily complicated and complex lives of people today. I bring brands to life through integrated work that is equal parts art and science. I turn marketing into a growth and innovation driver across the company. With a strong foundation in communications, marketing strategy, brand management and operational rigor, I have been part of the digital transformation of industries, brands and product categories in both B2B and B2C environments. I rely on both creative and analytical skills to channel my customer and audience obsession as well as on hiring and developing talented people who know how to translate insights about customers into experiences that resonate. I firmly believe that marketing needs to provide differentiated, meaningful, & personalized experiences. Doing this requires not just knowing our audience (through data), but also understanding them (through culture). At the end of the day, I am eager to continue to focus on my most fundamental insight: people want increasingly to be treated as people and not as consumers or targets.
