I have nearly 20 years of experience as a high level Insurance consultant, with clients in a variety of industries from tech to education--from food and beverage to non-profits—and everything in between! As a consultant I take pride in constantly developing (and maintaining) as deep of a knowledge as possible in the lines I serve, which range from employee benefits and worker's compensation to professional lines and property/liability insurance. I have taken my background in business consulting to garner a meaningful following as an expert speaker on a wide range of topics from understanding the ACA to designing employee benefits portfolios—from HRIS systems to general employee engagement strategies. I have spoken to a multitude of well-regarded organizations such as the CAHR’s main stage, PIHRA, SMA (a special interest division of SHRM), the business journals, as well as countless Boards of Directors and Executive teams looking to specifically bring my areas of expertise to their businesses. My speaking opportunities have grown beyond the stage as I have been engaged to give my insights into philosophical approaches to several top business podcasts as well—and I would be happy to discuss any of the above with any of you! Expanding my roles in the insurance and business consulting space, I am the host of the HIT Podcast, I work in an advisory capacity for a software startup company and I serve as a consultant to TAB Showroom, a Los Angeles-based women’s contemporary fashion showroom. Specialties: Licensed in both Life/Health as well as Property/Casualty. Former Vice President of the Board for the California Unemployment Insurance Council, Southern California. Former SMA (EMA) board member. Health Care Reform speaker. Business Speaker. OSHA 10 and Cal-OSHA-10 certified. Trained underwriter. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. Member of the American MENSA society.
