About Calumet Electronics
Founded in 1968, Calumet Electronics specializes in delivering "zero field failure" printed circuit board solutions in North America, strengthening the domestic aerospace, defense, electric power, medical, and industrial controls industries. Companies like Calumet are less common in the domestic PCB industry today, we are 100% American owned and we perform 100% of our engineering and manufacturing in the United States, no offshoring. Calumet is among the few domestic PCB shops offering the combination of quick turn capabilities, high production capacity, and advanced engineering and manufacturing capabilities. Calumet is growing by onboarding talented early-career engineers, continuing to invest in capital equipment, and building deep relationships with our customers and suppliers. We are proud of our people, our products, our company, and committed to strengthening the United States electronics industrial base by engaging and influencing industry, government, and education.
About Todd Brassard
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, but I have worked much of my career as a software programmer (my first love) and systems integrator. After a 12-year stint running a business with partners (earning my MBA the hard way, in the real world), I joined the Calumet Electronics team. I learned the PCB industry through the scores of data generated by the business, engineering, and manufacturing processes. In 2013, I helped reorganize the company becoming VP/COO. I am a champion of World Class Manufacturing and all the principals it implies. I enjoy learning, teaching, developing insightful strategies, and pulling off the impossible through critical thinking, applied effort, and teamwork. I am proud to have a leadership role in a company earnestly focused on creating great jobs in our community, made possible by building amazing products for our customers.
