I'm a business and technology leader with over 30 years of global technology and business transformation experience. Most recently I was Hootsuite's CEO from July, 2020 - January, 2023. Hootsuite is the leading social media management platform, helping organizations build enduring customer relationships at scale. Prior to Hootsuite, I spent over 4 years at Zendesk, a fast growing customer experience SaaS software company, as CIO and then COO. Prior to joining Zendesk I spent 11 years in CIO positions with two giant specialty retailers, Gap Inc. and L Brands. Prior to retail, I spent 12 years in management consulting with Ernst & Young and Capgemini. I have a long track record of delivering improved business results, building stronger and scalable business and technology operations, and increasing organizational speed of value delivery. I love solving problems and making things work better and I use technology in every part of my life. I know how to build teams and clear the path for teams to do great things. I am a calm leader and get tremendous satisfaction from creating high performing teams. I’m a father, husband, expert traveler between SFO and ATL, avid reader, long serving board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters, sports enthusiast, fisherman, art collector, small business owner, and I have a decent jump shot.
