All-round, energetic and ambitious hands-on manager and investor with strong network and vast experience in corporate and SME businesses, as well as with start-ups and venturing. Proven successful in both generalist and specialist positions, origination and execution of deals, debt raisings, as well as in project management. --- I have a passion for successfully developing companies in a wide variety of business sectors. I combine managing a diverse group of companies with the responsibility to pursue, manage and execute new investment opportunities which requires me to ''keep multiple balls up in the air'' at the same time. After spending time with corporates including a stint in Asia, I pursued a career in Private Equity, focussing its investments around buy&build opportunities. After managing a series successful exits decided to pursue other opportunities and started my own investment and advisory firm, more focussed around providing smart capital to (fast) growing companies. With Marco Pieters I founded Slingshot Ventures - a growth capital firm investing in fast growing companies, with a focus on B2C and B2B2C businesses. We back ambitious, talented and charismatic entrepreneurs and actively help them accelerate their businesses with our knowledge, experience, strategy and international network of people and companies.
