Tom is SpaceX’s Vice President of Commercial Sales, responsible for all commercial launch and private human spaceflight sales worldwide. In this role, reporting directly to the President, he focuses on deepening relationships with commercial businesses, governments, spacecraft manufacturers, space agencies, and private astronauts around the world. Prior to assuming his current responsibility, Tom served as CEO at Structural Mechanics Corporation in Los Angeles, a composites structures research scientist at NASA Langley Research Center, and a Sales Trader for Goldman Sachs in Tokyo. Tom is an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and holds a Doctorate in Engineering Science and Mechanics.
