Over 20 years’ experience in metering in the UK market, from many segments of the metering market including basic, prepayment, AMI, C&I and metering systems. Currently responsible for Strategic Industry Standards within the Office of the CTO, in Itron. Also holding several positions within the industry including: - Chairman of the Board of Directors - DLMS User Association - Chairman of PEL 894 - Remote Meter Reading - Head of UK delegation to CEN TC294 - Communications Systems for Meters - Convener CEN/TC 294/WG 6 - Wireless mesh networking - Communication systems for meter data exchange - Chairman BEAMA SMA (Smart Metering Association) Technical Committee - UK Delegate to IEC /TC13 /WG15 - Smart Metering Functions and Processes - UK Delegate to IEC /TC13 /WG14 - Data exchange for meter reading, tariff and load control - Itron Technical representative - IDIS Association Specialties: Smart metering, AMI, Smart Grid, Prepayment metering, UK and EU/International standards, ZigBee, Marketing, DLMS/CoSEM, Product Management, UK Energy Industry, Manufacturing Engineering, Design for Manufacture.
