I am a recognised leader and advocate of cyber security, IT and privacy supported by extensive knowledge, experience and abilities including leadership qualities. I demonstrate strong business and technical acumen in cloud architectures, security needs in data centric infrastructures complemented by robust roadmap value for segments to look at the short- and long-term goals. I utilise my ability to solve complex problems in technology development flows and thrive in fast paced, fluid environments with a sense of intense focus and urgency. Likewise, I employ experience in leading high performing teams to deliver excellent results through team leadership and personal ownership, often under extremely tight schedules. Responsible for the strategic leadership of the organisation’s information security program, I leverage my intellectual aptitude, creativity, prior experience, influence and agility to design an information security program that addresses the specific challenges facing the organisation. This involves defining, implementing and managing a comprehensive IT security program that supports corporate business objectives, ensures adherence to regulatory requirements and continually focuses on improving security posture. From a data privacy perspective, I am responsible for leading the organisation’s data privacy efforts across the enterprise and within the products, being provided to customers. Besides the aforementioned, keys to success include commercial knowledge and experience in working with service providers, client-stakeholder relationship management, in-depth understanding of technological trends and client requirements to be utilised for effective planning, formulation and implementation of solutions and strategies. Guided by experiences from employment years and effective application of principles, I do possess the qualities of delivering the objectives and superbly perform the delegated tasks or service that the standards of an organisation or institution set.
