Currently working as Head of AI & Solution Architect for Lenovo, I am a key member of an expert team of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning specialists operating within the EMEA field sales organization and its business development team for helping Lenovo´s customers and network of partners to leverage or integrate AI, ML and DL hardware and software solutions into their business. I am a recognized expert in the fields of neuroscience and neurophysiology with 10 years of track record in brain research made between Italy at Universitá degli Studi di Palermo and in the USA at The Scripps Research Institute, Florida Campus. I hold a position of Lecturer and freelance researcher at Universitá Degli Studi di Palermo, Department of Biomedicine and Clinic Neuroscience. I am also a photogrammetry expert with a major focus on medical use cases and Virtual Reality for Media&Entertainment industry as well as for electrophysiological and behavioural neuroscience research. In that regard, I worked as a Learning Content Developer external collaborator for Autodesk Inc., as well as Photogrammetry Expert for Realities.io. My main interest is into brain adaptation to new devices and putative applications of cutting-edge technologies, such as AI, VR, AR and 3D Printing for neuroscience research and as augmented tools for clinical and pre-clinical applications as well as for neurobiological investigations.
