Vanesa Meyer is Vice President and the Head of Innovation and Design at Visa Latin America and the Caribbean. She sets the direction for Visa’s Regional Innovation Strategy and leads a team of product experts, designers and software engineers across Visa’s Innovation Centers and Studios in the region, responsible for co-creating new payment and commerce experiences with key industry leader -including some of the largest regional Financial Institutions, Retailers, Digital Partners and Start-Ups. These innovations enable Visa's ecosystem to adapt to emerging trends and drive Visa's leadership in electronic commerce and payments. Previously, Vanesa was responsible for defining and managing the strategy and execution of all Products and Solutions for Latin America High Growth Markets at MasterCard, including digital payments, consumer products, business solutions, loyalty and safety & security services. In this role she defined and executed market transformation strategies and drove a strong pipeline of projects in contactless, tokenization, push payments, e-commerce and loyalty. She also held other leadership positions as Head of Consumer Products for LAC, and Business Development for Key Strategic Accounts, influencing the company’s global strategy for Affluent Card Products and Loyalty. Mrs. Meyer began her career at Citigroup, Latin America, where for almost 10 years she held several roles in Product Development and Marketing for the Cards Business, Affluent Segment and Investment Products. She was instrumental in building Citigroup Investment Product Business and in reshaping the Affluent Offering during the downturn of the Argentinean economy in the year 2001. With over 20 years of experience in the Payments and Financial Services industries, Vanesa is passionate in unlocking, designing and architecting new and innovative product solutions to drive profitable market growth and achieve ambitious company goals.
