Dr. Vesa Salminen is involved with several activities on research, education and industrial implementation. His expertise areas are innovation leadership, spiral innovation process, competence and capability management, industrial service and life cycle business digital transformation and management of business transition. He is appointed as managing director at Spiral Business Services Corp. that is providing expert services for networked life cycle businesses. He has over 20 years industrial experience on various positions in several enterprises and in industrial organization Technology Industries of Finland. He serves as well as Professor in Practice (Research Fellow) at HAMK University of Applied Sciences. He is appointed as well as Research Fellow at Vaasa University. He was serving from August 2014 until September 202 as research director at HAMK University of Applied Sciences HAMK Smart Research Center. He has also been working as industrial professor at Lappeenranta University of Technology. He has earlier served two years’ time as senior research scientist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT, Boston.
