I introduce myself as a management graduate in Logistics and Supply Chain from one of the best business schools in Asia, S.P.Jain Center of Management, having hands-on experience in Sourcing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Operation and Project Management. I started my career with Neptune Orient Lines (NOL/NSSPL) as a marine engineer and worked for 4 years on container and break bulk vessels. In my previous role as procurement head for Jengan Industrial Establishment (having one of the largest pump set and generator set assembly factory in the Gulf region) I was actively involved in Warehouse/Inventory Management, Operations, Sourcing and Vendor Development. In Aurobindo Pharma (A multi-billion dollar world class pharmaceutical enterprise) I was heading the MIS team in Logistics where we drafted and formalized SOP’s and streamlined vendor evaluation and management systems. I subsequently moved into supply chain and we worked on internal OTIF improvement project, mapping the entire value chain in the process. I was instrumental in setting up the new product launch process of generic drugs in regulated markets wherein my team was completely responsible for the entire supply chain for launch products. During my stint with Mylan Labs (one of world's largest generic drug maker) I was involved in new product launch and product life cycle management. At Zydus Cadila (among India's largest and fastest growing pharmaceutical companies) I was responsible for end-to-end demand, supply and inventory management (for both new and commercial products) for regulated markets. At Ipca Labs (having global leadership in anti-malaria portfolio) I was heading their global formulation planning function. I am currently associated with SunPharma (India's largest and among worlds top generic pharma company) and part of their Global Supply Chain set-up Specialties: 1. Expertise in Supply/Demand planning, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Development, Inventory Management and Logistics. 2. Global MBA from SP Jain & Mechanical Engineer (Nagpur University) 3. Hands on experience in Supply Chain and Project Management
