Dr. Uti brought a strong academic and research perspective, along with extensive entrepreneurial experience to her work at Kroger. As Chief AI Scientist for the Advanced Technology Services vertical in Kroger Labs, she was Kroger's lead scientist and researcher for Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Techniques of Sense and Respond Systems, and related technologies. Dr. Uti evaluated, reviewed, and recommended AI technologies to VP and C-level executives at Kroger. She also led teams to design, build, and integrate new AI technologies. Dr. Uti translated business challenges into innovative solutions and infused AI into Kroger to streamline complex processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the associate and customer experience.
