Vijay Kumar Velu is a Passionate Information Security Practitioner, Author, Speaker, Investor, and Blogger. He has almost two decades of IT industry experience, is a Licensed Penetration Tester and has specialized in providing technical solutions to a variety of cyber problems, ranging from simple security configuration reviews to cyber threat intelligence. Vijay holds multiple security qualifications including Certified Ethical Hacker, EC-council Certified Security Analyst, and Computer Hacking Forensics Investigator. He had spearheaded multiple cyber transformation programs from a simple start-up to fortune 500 companies in helping them mature their cyber security practices. Vijay was invited to speak at Multiple National and International Conferences and he has delivered multiple guest lectures and training on the importance of information security at various business schools in India and Abroad. He has authored four books on the topic he loves - ''Mastering Kali Linux for Advanced Penetration Testing - Second, Third and Fourth Edition'' and ''Mobile Application Penetration Testing''. He has reviewed a couple of books namely ''Learning Android Forensics'' and ''Cybersecurity - Attack and Defense Strategies''. He actively participates in the Capture The Flag events, his Team was the finalist in Global Cyber Olympics held in Atlanta, USA. His team was the Asian champions! For the information security community, Vijay serves as the chair member of the National Cyber Defence and Research Center (NCDRC) in India. Out of work, He enjoys playing music and doing charity.
