Vinay works on building new ventures, helps startup new ideas and works deeply at the intersection of design, data and science. In the past he has worked at the intersection of design and technology practices, consulting to companies worldwide and lecturing at various international venues. His current interests are in exploring the design & application of simple technologies to solve some of the world's wicked problems. Vinay is based in Copenhagen, Denmark but he frequently works and travels globally. Vinay is the CEO and founder of Leapcraft ( www.leapcraft.dk ) - Pervasive Environmental Intelligence as a service company– working with Air Quality, Noise and Traffic data for Smart City applications. As part of Leapcraft, he is creating a new smart city focused sensor network platform for Ambient Air Quality measurement called the Copenhagen Sense ( http://cphsense.com/ ) and Ambinode (http://ambinode.com/) and ( https://getairbird.com/ ) for betterment of Indoor Climate inside buildings Prior to this he co-founded of the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (www.ciid.dk). He has also built a data visualisation academy in collaboration with the Danish Design Center ( www.bigdataviz.dk ) and kickstarted a low-high tech movement call Frugal Digital ( http://frugaldigital.org/ )
