Vincent Doré est un économiste avec une expérience considérable dans la fonction publique. Il a obtenu un baccalauréat en économie et administration ainsi qu'une maîtrise en économie de l'Université du Québec à Montréal. Au cours de ses études, il s'est concentré sur les nombreuses implications économiques de l'adoption de la technologie, notamment sur les impôts, la main-d'œuvre, la compétitivité et la productivité. Vincent a su apporter son expertise au gouvernement fédéral à travers une variété de rôles. De par son travail dans le domaine de l'accès à l'information et de la protection des renseignements personnels au sein de Service Canada, jusqu'à ses récents projets de recherche au sein de l'Unité de recherche et d'analyse économiques d'Innovation, Sciences et Développement économique Canada, il a considérablement développé sa compréhension du rôle que joue l'information dans l'économie d'aujourd'hui et de l'importance de sa protection à mesure que les technologies numériques évoluent. Ses connaissances et son expertise sur la technologie numérique et la valeur de l'information l'ont mené plus récemment à travailler sur le programme de Certification CyberSecuritaire Canada. Plus particulièrement, il a la responsabilité de la promotion du programme dans la province de Québec. ----------------------------------------------------- Vincent Doré is an economist with a solid experience in the public service. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Administration as well as a master’s degree in Economics from Université du Québec à Montréal. During his studies, he focused on the many economic implications of technology adoption, including taxes, labour, competitiveness and productivity. Vincent then managed to quickly bring his expertise into the federal government through a variety of roles. Stating with his work in the field of access to information and privacy within Service Canada, up to his recent research projects as part of the Economic Research and Analysis Unit at Innovation, Science, and Economic Development Canada, where he significantly developed his understanding of the role that information plays in today’s economy and how its protection is becoming increasingly important as digital technologies keep evolving. His knowledge and expertise on digital technology and the value of information more recently brought him to work on the CyberSecure Canada Certification program, with the responsibility of its promotion in the Province of Quebec.
