Vivek Kumar is the Chief Marketing and Fundraising Officer for WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature), leading a world-class team of marketing, communications, business development & fundraising professionals who deliver high impact corporate partnerships, web infrastructure, digital marketing, brand & strategic communications and external relations. In his role, Vivek and his team also lead campaigns focusing on conservation and climate change goals such as deforestation, haze pollution, circular economy, plastics, sustainable finance, sustainable consumption and illegal wildlife trade. He works closely with communities, businesses and governments to advocate for positive change. Vivek has over 20 years of diversified leadership experience in MNCs such as Shell Retail, WPP Group PLC, and large public sector entities such as the NTUC. He is recognised as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK (FCIM). He was formerly the NTUC FairPrice Group's Director, Strategic Marketing and Omnichannel Monetisation. He led the marketing transformation for over 160 Cheers and FairPrice Xpress stores. Vivek also created blueprint for the region’s most sophisticated Omnichannel Retail Media Network across supermarkets, cafes, e-commerce and loyalty business, creating a partnership ecosystem and leading the P&L. Vivek is a keynote speaker at regional conferences such as the Economist’s Marketing Unbound, the MarTech Asia Summit and eTail Asia. Vivek has served as a Board Member of Enterprise Singapore, Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), and Assurity Trusted Solutions (subsidiary of GovTech Singapore) for over a decade. An alumnus of the Harvard Business School, Vivek is the honorary Chairman of the Asia-Pacific Advisory Board of the Global Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Council. He is a Lifelong Fellow of the Institute of Directors in India (F.IOD), and a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID). Vivek is an Angel investor with TiE India Angels. He is also the Global Advisory Board Member of tech companies such as Resulticks, the US-based fully integrated, AI-powered, real-time customer engagement platform. and Heliware, the India-based Geo-spatial Platform.
