I am a creator and leader of the Bank of Canada's Quantum Lab for Advanced Analytics. The Quantum Lab aims to make the Bank ready for when quantum computation is ready. I originate, strengthen, and execute collaborations between a leading central bank and quantum scientists all over the world to produce data driven research. My areas of expertise are quantum computation, data science (primarily deep learning and big data), and cryptocurrencies. I also do scientific computing and algorithmic optimization using distributed computing and GPUs.
