Wesley Faulkner's experience spans multiple facets of the technology industry. With over 20 years of domain knowledge in product marketing, product management, strategic planning and software/hardware implementation, Wesley’s ability to communicate advanced concepts to general audiences, stakeholders, and engineers makes him ideal for his role as Developer Relations professional. He has been a featured guest on several web media outlets such as TWiT and CNET. Wesley's previous employers include Applied Materials, Integrated Devices, Dell, AMD, and Atlassian. As a son of immigrants, he’s a first-generation American. Throughout life, he’s learned that through dedication, hard work and willingness to collaborate, we can build anything together. With a passion for community building, he has volunteered with several nonprofits such as Meals on Wheels, A Glimmer of Hope, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Texas, Austin Dog Alliance, and The Texas School for The Blind. Wesley currently sits on the Advisory Board of SXSW Interactive and is a founding member of Open Austin, a group advocating government data transparency.
