Bio

I am an engineer, writer, designer and all around creative. I believe that great design is defined by generosity, and that the greatest designers are those who never stop pushing the boundaries of their generosity. I've spent nights ensuring that the maps in your Mapquest app and Snapchat never failed to load and that your weather app can seamlessly know your location. I've helped design data visualizations of drone casualties for the United Nations, air quality sensing kites and community workshops to protest environmental data censorship and interactions for crowdsourced translation tools — all with care, equity and joy as my guiding values. I currently serve as the lead steward of Logic School, and organizing community for tech workers.
