Research, technology development, and entrepreneurship in the areas of signal processing, AI, medical imaging, machine learning and technology for healthcare, sensing, communications and radar, sampling and ADC design, signal processing for optics and biology, machine learning theory and algorithms. Strives to develop and harness technologies to impact medicine, technology, and basic science, and to drive progress for the benefit of society and human welfare. Passionate about human health and well being, understanding unmet technology needs and creating innovative solutions to them on large scale, and mentoring the next generation of researchers for cutting-edge scientific research that impacts society. Consulted to many global high-tech companies in Israel, the US and the middle east, in technology development and patents. Established an interdisciplinary center at the interface of high-tech and healthtech focused on translational research in signal sensing and AI. The center works closely with hospitals and leading technology companies worldwide to impact next generation technologies and to advance healthcare, medical diagnostics and imaging. Devoted to education and promoting diversity and inclusion. Served on the Committee for Higher Education in Israel and founded and heads the Committee for Gender Fairness in Higher Education in Israel. Together with my husband, Shalomi Eldar, founded Inbar, a nonprofit organization which empowers relationships for those with disabilities. Member of several IEEE Technical and Award Committees and served as a Signal Processing Society Distinguished Lecturer. Authored ten books in the areas of optimization, compressed sensing, information theory, machine learning, communication and radar, published close to 1,000 pier reviewed papers, 10 books and 22 book chapters, and holds 25 patents. Married to Shalomi and a proud mother of five kids ages 8-24.
