Yves is heading the Brussels' office of PKM Africa, a new and innovative African law firm. The Brussels' office is a gateway to Africa for businesses on other continents who are already active in Africa or who plan to become active. Yves has a very extensive network of legal professionals in Sub-Saharan Africa and can provide you with all the legal support you need. Yves is an experienced lawyer in project finance, leveraged finance, export finance, asset based lending and related forms of financing. He is also knowledgeable about all legal aspects of setting up a company, a project or a joint venture. He is an expert in the legal structuring and financing of infrastructure projects in developing countries with a particular expertise in Sub Saharan Africa (Chambers Legal: N°1 in Belgium). He has been involved in very complex or sensitive projects for large companies and multinationals. He also has a very good understanding of international trade, M&A and commercial law which allows him to operate as a coordinator of the legal team in large scale projects. His experience allows him to be pragmatic and efficient in the tasks he handles. He works with an excellent team which can also be your team. He covers the whole range of legal aspects related to major projects, such as the LOI or MoU, PPA's, offtake, credit facilities, government support, etc and this mainly in view of the bankability of the project.
