Creative and passionate training designer, communicator, promoter, and instructor/trainer able to grow programs and meet objectives through energized engagement. Teaching in the modern public education system has shown me that I have a lot of skill sets: project management derived from teaching multiple classes a day in different subject matters and managing the educational needs of over 100 students at a time while instructing them using best practices is to achieve high metrics against rigorous state standards and school goals; superlative instructor and instructional designer, with an eye toward measurable achievement and excited engagement on the part of my students; and mentoring and professional development designer, because as I learned more as an educator and professional, I crafted ways to share that expertise with my colleagues and administrators and I always learned the most from the colleagues around me who were doing great work. From there, I built my skill sets in communication and content creation, not only for my classes, but the dynamic programming I brought to my K-12 schools culturally, linguistically, and economically diverse students. From attracting a club volleyball team to the school to allow our students access to high level coaching and play at reduced cost to building a top-notch theater program from the ground up, I bring value to organizations through hard work, creative problem solving, and a focus on what is best for the group and mission.
