Bio

I recently completed my undergraduate degrees in physics and mathematics, and am currently in the process of entering the field of data science. During my undergraduate education I participated in two significant internships/research opportunities. The first was working as a research assistant on the CMS experiment of the LHC at CERN. This opportunity provided experience with being part of a team, handling a high-paced working environment, and developing the skill of learning on the fly. The second significant experience was my involvement with a theoretical physics research group based out of UMD and Brown. This opportunity provided me with experience in the process of academic research, and further developed my ability to learn at both a fast rate and at a high level. This research also resulted in a publication, which can be seen here https://arxiv.org/abs/1906.02971. I am generally interested in any topics involving physics, mathematics research, and machine learning. With regards to machine learning I am particularly passionate about deep learning models in medical and healthcare fields, both in their application and their construction and architecture. I would also be interested to learn about designing physics engines for game development.
