Hey 👋🏼 I'm just a guy, trying to find my grind 🧑🏻‍🔬 But really, I am an entrepreneur, passionate about solving the broad range of F&B challenges with good intentions and tech4good. My passion for the food space goes back over 20 years ago to college, where I spent 2 years flipping burgers in the cafeteria (out of necessity, while learning a lot). After graduating, I saw an opportunity to pioneer digitized restaurant listings in my home country of Pakistan (www.foona.net) in 2005. That failed, but again, I learned a lot. Over the last 17 years, I have: 🏁 Co-founded a digital agency in 2015 (with my spouse of 14 years), supporting 20 families across 3 geographies, generating over $1.5mn GMV with just $10K startup capital invested. 🧭 Been a senior digital transformation executive at one of the world’s largest and oldest public-sector organizations. 🌍 Moved to the GCC in 2012 as one of the first global mobility candidates with a leading telecom operator. 🤹🏼‍♂️ Remained an active startup community member and mentor with world-leading accelerators, such as Techstars. 🌱 Built an agritech startup in Thar (Pakistan's Rajasthan) between '06 - '08, raising $US 500K seed capital from Acumen.
