Over the last 10 years, I have done extensive work in building the Operations in Africa & GCC for Jumia. I have a deep understanding of the African, Indian and GCC landscape with very strong connections inside the industry. I have lived in Nigeria, Egypt, Kenya, Dubai and India and have travelled across the world building the supply chain network and teams. The fascinating aspects of my time at Jumia have been building the drone delivery network in Ghana, Cross border E commerce from China into Africa, Q commerce (15 Min delivery) in major cities in Africa . I have also enjoyed leading the technology teams at Jumia to create logistics and vendor management systems, however the most satisfying achievement is building the integrated 3PL Marketplace network in Africa. We have created a strong 1000+ 3PL partner network by empowering local entrepreneurs with SOPs, Technology and financing . Before Jumia, I was one of the early folks at Myntra (now flipkart.com) building the 3rd Party logistics network and technology framework in India. In terms of pedigree, I have graduated from IIM Calcutta, one of the prestigious Bschools In India and started my career as a TAS manager at TATA group. The foundations of my value system and leadership principles were laid in the TATA group and have stayed with me over the course of my life around the world. My strengths have always been my work ethic, execution skills, inherent positivity and a clean conscience. I am quite motivated to continue to create an impact in the world by touching the lives of as many people as possible.
