Staying humble and hungry has contributed to my success in the technology industry for more than 25 years. Skyhigh Security takes the same approach — and that could be the secret of our success in the cybersecurity space. Gartner has named our Security Service Edge (SSE) Solution as a leader in the market, but we still have to prove ourselves every day. And we are still innovating. We're also still having fun doing it. I come from humble roots, and most of the people from my neighborhood didn't have the support or access to all the opportunities I did. Today, I do my best to provide that support to others. I am committed to mentoring and connecting with young Latinos through a variety of organizations because I want to give teenagers and young professionals the same chance other people gave me. I enjoy sharing my expertise on cloud applications and architectures, cloud security, cybercrime, threat actors, and threat hunting with them, and with other technical professionals through speaking engagements. Like Skyhigh Security itself, my leadership style is unpretentious. Despite my executive title, I am informal and approachable. I take care of my team and my customers, and I listen to them. They reward me with their loyalty. I am still good friends with people who I worked with 20 years ago. Relationships and success go hand in hand — for Skyhigh, my team, and our clients.
