I'm the Director of Communications for Ether Capital (NEO: ETHC) — a leading technology company focused on staking and building institutional-grade infrastructure to support the Ethereum ecosystem. I oversee our communications and digital marketing strategy. Prior to joining Ether Capital, I worked at a crisis communications firm where I specialized in content creation and media training. I've also spent nearly a decade as a breaking news journalist in some of Canada's busiest newsrooms spearheading coverage for national and international events, including the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2018 Danforth shooting and the 2018 Yonge Street van attack. I started my career in journalism as an assignment editor before working my way up to a management role at Global News Toronto where I supervised more than two dozen journalists and crew. I'm a recipient of the Bell Media Inspiration Award for leading CP24’s Rob Ford coverage, and I played a primary role in the station’s multiple RTDNA awards in breaking news categories. I've also helped CP24 Breakfast maintain its status as Toronto’s most watched local morning show in all key demographics. I'm passionate about cryptocurrency, open protocols and disruptive technologies. I was born in Dartmouth, NS, and grew up in Toronto, ON.
