As the Vice President of Supply Chain Strategy and Material Flow at Sleep Number, I help to advance End to End Fulfillment by implementing Lean inbound and outbound logistical solutions. Together with the teams I lead, I develop and I deploy data-driven solutions aimed at increasing profitability and performance for large retailers, discrete manufacturers, and consumer product companies. Put simply, I help transform supply chain and logistics practices by assessing where we are today, identifying challenges and problems, and creating and implementing customized solutions that improve service and profitability. My experience working at multiple levels in the supply chain field, combined with my background in mathematics and optimization, make me highly skilled at identifying effective solutions to challenges in our supply chains and across organizations. I’m a strong believer in collaboration. As a long-term remote leader, I use my advanced communication skills to inspire and lead my virtual workforce. I cultivate a highly collaborative and supportive team environment, where everyone has the opportunity to learn and grow while offering superior solutions to our clients. My ultimate goal is to influence a priority shift toward climate change and social consciousness in the logistics and supply chain industry. Career Highlights: • Recognized in Trade Magazine’s 2020 Top 10 Women in Logistics. • Grew LeanCor, a startup third-party logistics and technology company, increasing annual revenue and contribution by 3x which led to a successful sale to a strategic partner, Transplace (now Uber Freight). • Led internal and external teams in the development and execution of customized logistics solutions for large private and public companies, realizing an average ROI of 150% after 3 years. • Developed, implemented, and managed lean supply chains for 10-15 clients totaling approximately $300M in annual Transportation Spend. Managed 25 Strategic Supply Chain managers to deliver supply chain advancement solutions. • Helped a customer save 272,000 gallons of gasoline and take 4,300 trucks off the road annually using our model of monitoring emissions, eliminating unnecessary expedites, and reducing emissions through routing efficiencies.
