Atley is a designer and programmer who uses games to analyze the psychological systems we're embedded in. Atley has a background in theater and film. She has a life goal of supporting diversity in computer engineering and game design. While at the USC Interactive Media and Games program, she created Code Camp, an initiative to teach programming by building tactile metaphors with everyday objects like beads and pipe cleaners. Her thesis was Palimpsest: a rhythm-action VR game and high school program about fighting for the femme psyche in a hostile technological environment.
