I work at the intersection of the built environment and the people in it. I have deep delivery expertise of the physics and systems to deliver low carbon buildings alongside human comfort through projects at a range of scales, and advise clients based on this experience. At Arup I also lead teams of multidisciplinary engineers across a range of sustainable buildings and cities projects, with a particular focus in residential and regeneration sectors. I work across the firm to bring our skills together in new ways to deliver optimised services and research. I use my knowledge of the interaction of people and buildings to lead practical yet transformative change toward sustainable development - as Arup’s Retrofit at Scale business leader this interface is particularly key. I am a convener of stakeholders to drive the delivery of Green and Thriving neighborhood. I also lead the development of our London focused work on net zero and resilience, and wider real estate resilience thinking. I am action focused and driven to force theory into practice by disrupting industry norms. I'm a Fellow of CIBSE where I sit on the council, lead the overheating task group and sit on the Homes for the Future group.
