Benn is an Entertainment Executive, Charity Officer, SXSW winning and Oscar-shortlisted Producer, and global Social Impact Advisor who believes we have a special opportunity to use films, games, and media to bridge the worlds of story and advocacy/policy, to champion people’s stories, engage players, filmmakers and audiences to be action drivers for global goals.

As the Executive Producer and Vice-Chairman of HF Productions he oversees global film festivals across 16 countries, feature documentaries, co-founded streaming service FILMPIXS and successfully sold its global portfolio. He has produced on award winning films including the Oscar shortlisted ''Women of the Gulag'' and the SXSW winner “Beautiful Something Left Behind”, and been the Lead Impact Advisor for Count Us In & Netflix on the Best Picture Oscar & BAFTA nominated “Don’t Look Up”, Barack Obama’s “Our Great National Parks, “Down to Earth with Zac Efron”, and “Breaking Boundaries”.

Benn has teamed up within the United Nations ecosystem on several initiatives. He has been a consultant for UN Live - Museum for the United Nations, executive producer of the COP26 Broadcast Studio with UNFCCC, serves on the communications team of UNEP's Playing for the Planet Alliance, co-organizes the SDGs in Action Film Festival with UN DESA, owns the license for SONY Picture This with UN Foundation, and owns the Arctic Film Festival in Svalbard which is a UN SDG Partnership Platform SMART project.

Benn also serves on several boards as an advisor.

Benn is also hired as a special consultant including for VICE Media on Change Incorporated; for Sybo Games on the most downloaded game in the world Subway Surfers; for Count Us In on global activations with Extreme E Racing, CUP26. Benn has produced extensively for Chinese outlets as well including producing the first ever livestream broadcast into China at the Billboard Music Awards with a live red carpet and licensed broadcast for Tencent, and daily entertainment news shows “Hollywood at your Doorstep”, “This Week in Hollywood” for Tencent, Youku, SoHu, LeTV. Developed ad sponsorships with Disney and Universal Studios to promote tent-pole projects to China on these shows.
