I’m someone who understands that reaching an optimal point for a system or an organization is more important than maximizing efficiency for each of its sub-systems. While I have been carefully navigating around this principle I staunchly believe in adding value by eliminating the waste and consistently driving out the bottlenecks to improve performance. Over my 5 years experience in the Supply Chain I added value in progressively increasing capacities solving end-to-end tactical problems. Reporting and learning from the CPG leaders with Fortune 500 experience gave me an in-depth understanding of processes and created a unique set of leadership, communication and inter-personal skills. I believe in situational leadership and team-effort. I'm highly passionate about the concepts of Supply Chain Optimization, CapEx Management, Program Management in Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Industrial IoT, Digital Transformation, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, World Class Manufacturing. I'm also uniquely passionate about the big picture from start-up disruption to the cogs of economy. In my free time, I research technology and consumer companies, the intricacies of how corporations are run, the domino effect of policy adoptions by different economies around the world and many more. I'm always open to a cold message and a hot cup of coffee. Feel free to reach out to me at: akurapa1@asu.edu.
