Bio

I'm passionate about technology and how people, specifically other developers, interact with it. I enjoy creating the building blocks and watching people make use of it to solve their specific problems. Nearly every aspect of my professional career has been centered around this platform concept. I first discovered this passion after a few years as a software engineer when I re-architected a monolithic application to separate out the core engine. This allowed the internal development team and external customers to begin building user interfaces specific to their problem. I co-founded Modulus in 2012 which was a platform as a service for Node.js developers. It now hosts thousands of applications and I'm constantly amazed at the types of applications being built and deployed on top of it - many of which I used on a daily basis. It was acquired by Progress Software (PRGS) in 2014. By co-founding Losant in 2015, I'm going to help take the platform play to the next level by enabling IoT developers to quickly and easily build connected experiences. I'm constantly tinkering with emerging technology to discover what the next great thing is going to be.
