Bio

Brian Ehrig is a Partner at Kearney. He is an industry leader on competitive and operational strategies, with deep functional expertise in product development, merchandising, sourcing, sustainability, and supply chain.

Over his career, Brian has helped numerous companies across the retail and consumer goods industries operate and grow more effectively, helping to create new customer experiences, increase capabilities and improved organizational capabilities. He has recently specialized in helping large global brands manage the changes inherent in developing Direct to Consumer (DTC) capabilities, including innovating products and services as well as retail formats, and navigating the complexities of international expansion.

A few of Brian's achievements include:
• Led a global apparel brand through a merchandise planning transformation. The project addressed all of the business functions that were responsible for planning the business, and connected and aligned the corporate strategy and merchandise strategy to the operational capabilities of the company
• Stood up a new retail entity out of a carve out with > 300 stores
• Led a global brand transformation for a major U.S.-based lifestyle brand, re-architecting global merchandising, planning, and allocation processes to drive in a new brand strategy and reduce SKU proliferation
• Designed an integrated assortment planning, PLM, and sourcing system for a private label division of a major U.S. retailer. Lead implementation that addressed over 20 brands and over 800 merchandise planning, product development, sourcing, and related staff
• Developed a market entry approach for a ~$2B specialty retailer who sought to expand outside N. America.

He earned a B.S. in Supply Chain Management from Arizona State University and an MBA from Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia.
