Charlene loves being an ''extrapreneur'' connecting, mentoring, advising, and investing in entrepreneurs, intrepreneurs, and social enterprises. She has nearly 20 years of private sector and social sector experience working with a variety of organizations ranging from tech startup/scaleups to international non-profits to Fortune 500 companies. She began her career as an IT consultant at Deloitte Consulting, but over the past 8 years, has focused on operational leadership of socially impactful venture-capital backed businesses in the healthtech and fintech industries. Charlene has a broad spectrum of entrepreneurial and managerial experience ranging from strategic operations (strategic planning, organisational performance), people operations (org design, building and scaling global teams), customer operations (new product development, account management, customer support), and commercial operations (B2B marketing, sales, customer success). In general, she is passionate about how to put into place the optimal people, systems and processes to empower organizations to maximize their impact.
