Tim’s academic roles include Multiple Sclerosis Research Australia Fellow and the inaugural Nerve Research Foundation Fellow at the Brain and Mind Centre (University of Sydney). With a background in electronics engineering and neuroscience/neuroimaging, he currently leads clinical neuroimaging innovations in the Computational Neuroscience Team at the Brain and Mind Centre; and oversees all operational aspects of Sydney Neuroimaging Analysis Centre (SNAC). In these roles, he has operationalized more than $7m AUD in government-funded industry-research grants in the AI-imaging space. His work has translated to real-world efficiency gains for clinicians; improved diagnostics and disease monitoring for patients; and novel insights into the pathophysiology of brain diseases for researchers. As a SNAC co-founder, Tim has been instrumental in leading a diverse but highly cohesive team of more than 40 researchers, engineers, developers and clinicians across research, product, and clinical trial/service divisions.
