Bio

With 23 years of social housing experience I provide training and consultancy services to housing providers, local authorities and the community safety sectors. I specialise in a variety of areas including Anti-Social Behaviour, Safeguarding, Hoarding, Domestic Abuse, Housing Management, Building Resilience, Lone Working, Governance, Regulation and much more. I previously worked for a national leading law firm and the Chartered Institute of Housing where I had provided strategic Housing and ASB advice to hundreds of landlords across England and Wales. In addition to bespoke strategic advice to social landlords, I also deliver presentations and keynote speeches at various national and regional housing conferences. I worked closely with the Home Office and MHCLG to help shape and influence national policy and practice in the social housing sector including the development of the ASB, Crime and Policing Act 2014 and gave oral evidence at the House of Commons Select Committee. I am a Board member for Ocean Housing Ltd, based in Cornwall where we provide over 4500 homes to local people. I also sit on the Chartered Institute of Housing South West Board.
