I am a Senior Research and Policy Officer at National Energy Action, the national fuel poverty charity, working to ensure that everyone in England, Wales and Northern Ireland is warm and safe at home. I have a PhD in Social Policy and my research interests and expertise are focused at the intersection of housing and health inequalities. My disciplinary background is in Psychology. I have substantial experience in social research utilising a range of methods, analytical approaches and software packages, and have delivered to the highest standard independent research and work undertaken as part of interdisciplinary research teams. I have presented widely at conferences across the UK and internationally, and have published across academic and non-academic platforms. My research has twice been recognised at a national level winning awards in 2014 and 2016.
