I research the latest security technologies, products, services, innovations, and threats to drive long-range security strategy. Previously, I focused on the engineering of security controls and monitoring solutions, including database activity monitoring, application control and whitelisting, sensitive data egress monitoring, file integrity monitoring, intrusion detection and prevention, and security event monitoring. I earned and maintain CISSP certification. Before focusing on security, I worked as a software developer, a network engineer, a call center architect, and a project manager. I also teach in the Utica University Master's of Cybersecurity program as an adjunct faculty member. I earned a Doctorate of Science in Computer Science with an emphasis in information security from Colorado Technical University in 2020. My doctoral research focused on security automation and adaptive cyber defense within the financial sector.
