I am passionate about Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation - what this means for our clients business-of-today, while future-proofing business-of-tomorrow. Currently leading the African branch of The Advantage Group International working with some of the Worlds largest FMCG and Retail brands. Our focus is B2B Customer Engagement, and our proprietary digital platform, AI, and expertise, enable us to provide custom and syndicated market research, data analysis, competitive benchmarking and business advisory services. SA was awarded highest growth in emerging markets for 2021 with over 60% y-on-y growth. Currently, also serving as a Board Director of the Italian-South Africa Chamber of Trade & Industry - the total value of goods exported to Italy from SA was ~EUR1bn in 2021, a growth of 40% on 2020. As Ex-Chair of the Board of the Ecommerce Forum Africa (EFA) and currently on the special projects committee, I am driving a growth agenda for Africa enabled by technology and led by Digital Trade. The EFA represents over 55 private sector companies engaging in multi stakeholder digital trade discussions across SSA and Globally. In December 2018 the EFA constituted the 1st Pan-African Digital CEO Forum with 22 execs, from 15 companies and 11 Countries from which the ''Digital Trade: Principles for the Future - call to action from the Private Sector'' report was crafted and submitted to the AU and regional bodies. Previously Senior Strategist for the African Consumer Industry group of Deloitte, working with clients through the value chain from manufacturers to retailers. As a qualified futurist (Cum Laude) I provide scenario based, systems thinking solutions in an uncertain, disruptive and exponential world. I strive to make a positive impact on the continent through policy development and leading discussions with international CEO’s & Government representatives, including the World Investment Forum, UN & WTO (Geneva), Global Digital Leaders’ Summit (Luxembourg), Africa Agri Investment Indaba, AfricaCom, IoT Africa, Africa’s export development, AU Private sector Summit etc. I was also privileged to represent a private sector delegation with the NBF (Nepad Business Forum) to present the inaugural Esibayeni Declaration to the SADC 15 member state ministers for regional economic and social development....
