Edmund Higenbottam has over 20 years experience in investment management and investment banking in a career which started in London in 2001. Since 2013, Edmund has specialised in private capital markets. Edmund is responsible for the Verdant Capital Hybrid Fund, which is investing in hybrid capital into inclusive financial institutions,. Prior to founding Verdant Capital in 2013, Edmund worked at global bulge bracket firms, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley, as well as in senior roles in the Africa team of Renaissance Capital. Edmund has a degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge.
